People are debating about whether

I mean... he seemed prety dead. And the chapter title was "a hope that cannot be seen". Seriously, he got impaled through the heart with a bunch of concrete spikes.

Awesome chapter this week, I love the League of Villains.

Dabi in particular is one of my favorites.

It's truly good when I can enjoy a villain and feel sorry for him even when he brought harm to a cute little girl. In all rights, I should hate Chisaki to the core for what he's done to Eri, but I can't help but enjoy him as a villain and now a helpless onlooker while Shigaraki gets better and more villainous with each passing arc.

First major death in MHA. Well, for the hero side, that is.

RIP Nighteye  :face-cry :face-cry :face-cry :face-cry :face-cry
Though how didn't die instantly from a stone pike piercng is heart and lungs is a little mistifying. I would've honestly prefered if he just died in the hole, I know that may be a little too dark for this series, but it would've been a MUCH stronger point to end on IMO.

Yeah I don't know, makes no sense. Well drawn chapter and stuff but c'mon how was he not already dead. A wound like that is pretty much instant-death. Either make it less lethal so all the drama can make sense or just kill him from the start. I was yawning all through this 'closure' chapter because he should've been dead 6 chapters ago.

If maybe it was a little more clear that it went through his stomach and not his heart it would've worked better.

Also I heard season 3 is coming in april.

I think it was interesting to kill him in the aftermath because usually it's either in the heat of battle or everyone's safe and will eventually recover. Might be the first time I've seen a post-climax death in a shounen manga arc. But yeah, the way it was framed made it a little weird, especially considering that even among heroes, Nighteye's body was completely human.
