I'm sorry, I have no idea what any of you are talking about. DAISAN NO BAKUDAN BAITSA DASUTO!

This week's chapter was great as well, though I doubt Midoriya's gonna flunk this. Nighteye probably laughs with a straight face too.

On a quasi-related note, I am curious to know your opinion on this series, Chris. Have you watched/read it?

Ok, thanks, but I'm not really looking for new anime at the moment. I've already got too large a backlog and not enough time to do anything about it. I'd need a more convincing recommendation than that to add something to the backlog, and much more to fast track it to the top of the queue above like 20 things I've been meaning to watch for years in order to catch up before Spring season. There are fans saying "it's what Naruto/Bleach/etc should have been" about every other new mainstream shounen and just as many reviews saying it's nothing special. Also comparing to American comics doesn't help for me at least, since I've basically never read one. I always had a bit of a bad impression from this show, anyway, based on things like manga cover pages and pictures I've seen in passing. It looks a bit, I dunno, lame. To be fair I know next to nothing about it so that may well not be a meaningful judgement.  :face-tongue

It is a really cool series if the premise interests you at all, but if not, don't bother. I love it to bits but it's really nothing groundbreaking. It takes a while to get going too and the anime stops before it gets to the part where it starts getting really good, but it keeps improving from there. It has quite brisk pacing compared to most shonen battle series too.

Black Clover also had similar issues this week, seems to be a magazine deadline thing..
