I'm thinking of quitting my job and getting a student visa and living in japan...anyone done that?what sort of things did you have to do for it?
http://www.citymayors.com/economics/expensive_cities2.htmlhttp://www.aneki.com/expensive.htmlJapan is an expensive country, yes.
Not compared to the country we're living in now.
Good thing you don't live in Greenland or Iceland ^^ Is it true you can buy half a cucumber in Norway??
Yes it is. Jealous? Is a whole one too big for you? True man!But I am guessing that there are not many people in other countries that have 36$ per hour salary with an part-time job!
When I finish my undergraduate degree, if I stay here in Nottingham, they pay physics postgrads to assist part time with teaching and lab work and stuff, and the pay rate for that is something like £30/hour according to one of the people who currently does it. That's $47 per hour. Although you do need an undergraduate degree in Physics to get the job, I'd say that's pretty win.
Near the minimum wage for stuff like that I'd guess. Probably around £7 / $11
