I don't get how you guys could make  jokes about a 9 year old kid's death..
Muffins Of Mass Destruction

We passed upon the stair, we spoke of was and when. although I wasn't there, he said I was his friend. Which came as some surprise. I spoke into his eyes "I thought you died alone, a long long time ago"

Oh no, not me. I never lost control. You're face to face with the man who sold the world.

it's the only thing i can, i have purposely avoided being sad since i was 12 and the most effective way to do so is fueling another emotion and it's gotten it's own dynamics now, whenever i hear smth bad or sad i make jokes about it, including things that severely concern me directly, e.g. by endangering my medical career.

I'm seriously not even sure if i would cry on a close relatives funeral and i'd definitely put a few jokes in their funeral summation.

That's not a bad idea. Who wants to feel depressed, right? but you don't have to make jokes like that! keep them to yourself.. They're cruel and heartless! If this was a 50 year old pedophile sure make all the jokes you want, who will be sad about it? Nobody.
I've experienced a lot of things in my life, one so similar to that article too and I agree that fueling another emotion is better than the alternative but why does that have to mean that you need to make an insensitive joke like that out loud? I can't understand how people can't keep somethings themselves.

Wow, me too.... except the joke part I would not joke about it. I just generally don't feel sad when people around me disappear. Although, I think that would be different for my mother or father, only two people I actually care about :face-normal

It's not owning the condom that's embarrassing, The fact that it fell on the red carpet full of celebs and media that's embarrassing.
